Join us for a morning of fun in scenic West Potomac Park. The 5K Run will start promptly at 8:00 am and the 5K Walk will follow immediately after all runners have cleared the start line. The certified 5K course is flat & fast alongside the Potomac river. There is no race day registration at West Potomac Park. The last day to register will be Friday, May 18th when the entry fee is $30.

All entries are non-refundable. Race will go on rain or shine.

Please join us for what is one of Northern Virginia's best kept secrets - the Cascades 10K Fire Chase presented by Chick-fil-A. In its 10th year, the race offers numerous amenities and is hosted by the Cascades Community Association for the benefit of the Sterling Volunteer Fire Company. The funds raised through sponsorship and entry fees help the Fire Company acquire much-needed equipment.

Alexandria Running Festival includes a half marathon and 5K in Alexandria through the Holmes Run and Brenman Park area.  This scenic course is mostly flat and shaded providing a combination of trails, parks, and roads.

Run a fast race on a flat course alongside two creeks with free parking at the start / finish, enthusiastic aid station volunteers, and great food and awards afterwards.

We will host a 1K Kids Fun Run for Kids ages 5-12.

Celebrate Memorial Day and honor our past and present military heroes by taking part in our event. The 10K & 5K races start at 9:00 AM with the 1K Walk starting before at 8:30 AM.

Participants who register for the 1K Walk will receive bells to ring in Memorial Day!

The second annual Let Freedom Run 5K and 1K Fun Run has a great location at Monument Drive and Government Center Pkwy. in Fairfax Corner. The 5K starts at 9 AM and the 1K starts at 8:30 AM. This is a family-friendly event with Capital Running Company's standard awards structure, abundant prizes from Pacers, 5 year age groups, and a 4th of July theme. Packet pickup opens at 7 AM.

Display your patriotism by wearing red, white, and blue clothing and costumes.

Run! Geek! Run! 8K starts and finishes in West Potomac Park in Washington DC. This is a flat, fast course and is a ChronoTrack-timed event supported by Capital Running Company. Awards will be given to runners in five-year age groups and there is also a corporate team challenge. Following the race there will be an awards ceremony with music, food, and drinks.

Proceeds support the Dean R. O’Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund at the Foundations for the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda Maryland.

Renal cell cancer, also known as kidney cancer, is on the rise in the United States. The Dean R. O’Neill Renal Cell Cancer Research Fund sponsors a dedicated research program at NIH to explore new and existing treatments specifically for renal cell cancer. The NIH has a long track record of leading research in the field of kidney cancer.

The Valvoline Instant Oil Change 19th annual Goblin Gallop 5K,  1K Fun Run and 5K Walk has a great location at Monument Dr. and Government Center Pkwy. in Fairfax Corner. The 1K starts at 8:30 am, the 5K starts at 9 am and the 5K Walk starts at 9:10 am. This is a family-friendly event with abundant prizes, 5 year age groups, fun, glow in the dark t-shirts, and a Halloween theme.

This Veterans Day, Sunday, November 11, 2012, join Capital Running Company in honoring our country's veterans in the thirteenth annual Veterans Day 10K! The race starts at 8:00 am and will take place at West Potomac Park near the Tidal Basin and the FDR Memorial in Washington, DC.

Join us for the fourth annual DrumStix Dash 8K and Family Fun Run. Celebrate Thanksgiving and the fall colors and have an opportunity to have fun and exercise at a beautiful park location. Our event features an interesting 8K and a fun run for those folks who aren't up to going almost 5 miles. Arrive early for the best parking.

On Sunday, December 9th, 2012 please join Capital Running Company in celebrating the holiday season with a great 8K! The fun event offers a fast, certified course through downtown Washington, DC with the start and finish near Freedom Plaza. We offer a starting time of 9 AM which offers the opportunity to take Metro. Jingle Bells are provided for the shoes and costumes are allowed for those who wish to show their holiday spirit. The charity beneficiary is the Habitat for Humanity of Washington, DC.

For those of you who like to register on race day we will be ready for you at 7:00 AM.

Celebrate this New Year's Eve and support local charities by taking part in our Ringing In Hope. The 10K and 5K races start at 3:00 PM with the 1K Walk starting before at 2:30 PM. The race takes place at the Brambleton Town Center Plaza.
 

Strollers and baby joggers are welcome, but must start in the back of the field as a safety precaution for the other participants.
